"WILLIE BECOMES A HERO"

Willy is a precocious boy who’s also rather full of himself. In this book written in rhyming verse and illustrated in a child-like manner by Lynne Pickering of Warwick , Australia (the second of three books) Willy goes on an errand for his Mother to retrieve loaned- out cake pans from one of her friends. He finds a poor kitten stuck in a wet storm drain along the way. He rescues the kitten and imagines himself a huge hero who receives many accolades and a formal thank-you dinner from the city for his effort. When he arrives at his destination he tells everyone of his daring rescue of the kitten from a watery doom in the storm drain and his story about himself begins to grow. When he returns home and tells his Mother of his brave rescue of the kitten (as he tells it) she calls all his friends as he watches TV in another room. He receives a surprise thank-you party including a just-made cake and a large thank-you banner quickly made by one of his friends. In this way Willy’s daydream virtually comes true.

God’s messages of hope are still heard by listening ears and miracles still occur in the lives of those with expectant faith!

In the pages of A Fax From Heaven, you will see how God reveals His love in true stories of real people and real lives, in life-changing events and in the smallest details of everyday life!

"THE COLD ROOM"

Homicide Detective Taylor Jackson thinks she's seen it all in Nashville—but she’s never seen anything as perverse as The Conductor. Once his victim is captured, he contains her in a glass coffin, slowly starving her to death. Only then does he give in to his attraction.

Later, he creatively disposes of the body by reenacting scenes from famous paintings. Strangely, similar macabre works are being displayed in Europe. Taylor teams up with her fiancé, FBI profiler Dr. John Baldwin, and New Scotland Yard detective named James “Memphis” Highsmythe—a haunted man who only has eyes for Taylor—to put an end to The Conductor’s art collection.

Has the killer gone international with his craft? Or are there dueling artists, competing to create the ultimate masterpiece?
